My email to the Iraqi Embassy

Dear Mr/Mrs The Ambassador

It’s about two months from now Iraq will have the first free election in the history and Iraqis inside Iraq are worried of attacks on polling centers or queues and revenge operations on the voters.

About more than 3 million exiled Iraqis living abroad, Europe, America, Australia and new Zeeland will play a major roll in the election and in the future of Iraq. Most of us are lived for a long time in the western world, we know the principles of democracy which is involved here in our daily life and we can make the big change in the future of our land but the problem is the Iraqi government forgot us, nobody in the government discussed our votes, nobody mentioned us and I hope they are still consider us as Iraqis.

Since it is easer to organize polling centers here in Europe than in Iraq I insist on practicing my right to vote and participate in this great democratic step of our land. I hope that the Iraqi embassy will contact Baghdad and provide all the Iraqis abroad the information and the details needed about the voting system for the exiled Iraqis.

Thank you for your time and best regards
