Please, please understand that most Americans understand that Sunnis are many people, who happen to include terrorists. And lots of the terrorists are non-Sunni. We know this. So just because we use this phrase does not mean we think all Sunnis are alike. I'm sure the people of Fallujah are just as outraged that their name is associated with the terrorists operating in their city. It’s just a phrase we made up, for convenience.
