Next Friday

Next Friday

First of all next Friday I will go to vote in the nearest voting station from where I live (Zwolle) about 1 hour by car, I will do my best to cover all voting process in that particular place, I will make some interviews with people (Iraqis, not Iraqis) at the voting station (if you have questions and you want me to ask them for you please drop it in the comments and I will be glad to do it), I will also make some photos there so wait until Friday night local time (Amsterdam) to read about it.

Last Poll

A new poll made by Iraq’s Al-Madha newspaper shows that two third of Baghdad inhabitants will participate in the election. The poll took place in 8 districts of Baghdad.

66% will participate in the election
25%% will not
9% undecided

The poll shows that Sunnis are less enthusiasts about the election, in Al-Adhamia district only 24 % said they will vote but in Al-Sadr city people are more enthusiasts, 77 % said they will vote

Good idea, Ladysweetie. Be sure to take lots of photos of 18 — 40 year old Iraqi women. Hey!

As far as what questions you could ask the voters, hmmm:

    1) Do you plan on going back to Iraq?

    2) Are you happy that you can vote in the Iraqi elections?

    3) What type of government would you like to see in Iraq?

    4) Are you optimistic about Iraq’s future?

    5) Why did you decide to vote?

    6) How does Sistiani keep his beard from catching on fire being so close to that candle?

    7) What does your family in Iraq tell you about the situation there?

    8) Have you ever made love to a Kurd?
