There are people really pissed off because we Iraqis can vote and we voted and we will keep voting, look at those losers who designed buttons, posters and bumper stickers to discourage the Iraqis.….….….….….…in your faces you trolls we did it.

See them here
I believe if you examine that site more closely you’ll find that it’s intended as parody. I think the stickers and posters are meant to be humorus and are critical of the terrorists, though sometimes it’s hard to tell.
Dave
Ladybird,
Congratulations!
This has been simply the most AMAZING DAY!!!
Long live the Iraqi Patriots!

Ladysweetie,
That’s National Lampoon, famous American comedy group/publication,
a bit on the liberal side. Ever see the Chevy Chase National Lampoon Vacation movies? That’s them.
A Real Hero in Iraq from the I Should Have Stayed Home blog
From a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior:
Baghdad Police HQ reported that at 1200 hrs today, Police Constable Abd al Amir was killed in the line of duty at the Khalil bin Walid Polling Center in the Yarmuk section of Baghdad. Abd al Amir identified a suspicious man wearing an explosives belt, and immediately tackled him, shielding the lines of voters with his body, and dying instantly when the terrorist detonated his belt.

I don’t know those lampoon thing but they must look for something else to laugh about at this time
American
thank you for the nice words
Ladybird, First of all, congratulations and thank you for what you have had the strength to do today. Thank everyone you know who has voted. It’s something wonderful for we Americans, especially those that have loved ones there, to read what you have to say and to let others know. Secondly — on these bumper stickers — it’s sort of like the “Volkswagen” commercial. You have to have a certain perspective to enjoy the humor. I did enjoy that one.
Congratulations again! Joy to you and yours! Iraq! Iraq! Iraq!
A true congratulations from the oldest democracy to the newest one. We got rid of the bully, but I can’t express in words the amount of admiration I have for the Iraqi people to have put up with 50 years of tyranny, many of them, including the last two spent in war, and then still have the will power, the sheer courage to defy the terrorists threats, and take the future of their country into their own hands. This is a day of celebration for Iraqis, and a day of hope for those who still yearn for the taste of freedom. May this new government of the people and by the people live long, and may our two countries remain friends. Once again, congratulations.
Yea, that is pretty sick of them. Lets hope peace descends upon Iraq in this first step toward self-determination. –your iraqi brother

Yeah, its parody, but i am not clear what the joke is. hahaha terrorists are going to kill the iraqis? I don’t know. its weird. the same people created a very good site mocking moveon.org, an anti-everything-Bush organization. they called it moveonplease. this goes the opposite way and its not really funny.
Speaking of humor, Mel Brooks, a jewish man, once made a play where they made fun of Hitler. He said, his goal was to make Hitler too ridiculous to take seriously. Maybe that is your way of rebelling. make fun of zarqawi. i see you are doing that already with the post claiming to have found zarqawi in disguise. maybe that is the right way to do it.
I am a sunni and a patriot to Iraq.
I am a sunni who has not slept with the occupier or handed my sister over to the US soldiers who already came down my mother’s throat.
I am a sunni who chose not vote because of the evil conspiracy against me.
A conspiracy against me BECAUSE I am Iraqi.
I am a sunni and I spit on you all.
I spit on those Iraqis who believe themselves patriots to have voted.
Do you even know what you have done, you miserable Iraqi fuckers? hmmm?
You just voted away 1/3rd of Iraq’s territorial integrity. While you were dancing on US and Brit cock, hailing your new-found freedom to become slaves, the Kurds silently held a referendum on the future of the Kurdish areas.
What do you fuckers think they voted?
Yes, goodbye Iraq. Its nice to know freedom means breaking your country down to cantons.
Enjoy it you bastards, but remember what the French resistance did to the Vichy government. Your time will come.
Keep licking occupation boot. Everyone knows these blogs are bought and paid for by the US special ops.

I would just like congratulate all the Iraqi people and applaud them for standing up for their new found rights. You know, like Iraq, America too was born out of fire. Stand Strong! From out of that fire will come the spark that ignites the Torch of Freedom. And that Torch will forever shine over your great Land. God bless you all in Iraq. You are always in my prayers. And again, congratulations.
Hey # 13…
Ha Ha Ha Ha…you loser ass-monkey you. Boo Hoo Hoo we used to live like kings… now we have to share power with the true majority…WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!
(Sorry folks…:-)…)
I have a question and I am not quite sure if this is the correct place to post it. Is anyone explaining to the Iraqi people what to expect in the upcoming months and years? Is anyone informing them that there will be more trouble and more violence? I have greatly admired the Iraqi people since before the first Gulf War. I was moved to tears a number of times while watching the Iraqi people vote on television. For once, they were smiling because they were truly happy. I guess what I am trying to say is this… I just don’t want the Iraqi people to be disillusioned. Freedom, Peace and Democracy will come. In fact, in many ways it is already there. But there are hard times still ahead as well as many happy ones. I would like to see the Iraqi people still smiling months and years from now. I don’t want to see them consistanty being let down because things are not being explained to them. God Bless Iraq and The Iraqi People. You remain in my constant prayers. David.
My best wishes for all the Iraqi people that have for so long endured many hardships under various regimes, and more recently the tragedies of occupation by a dangerous force.
I hope that the Iraqi people will all work together for their common good and well-being, and be unified again — and will not have to endure the occupation and its tragedies for long.
You are in my hearts and prayers. Courage, strength and patience
