1,500–2,500 Saudi terrorist in Iraq

Aljer­aan [Arabic]web site stated via Reuters that 1500 Saudis now are fight­ing in Iraq.

Where are these crim­i­nals?
And who’s sis­ter are they gonna kill or rape?
Who’s grand­fa­ther are they gonna kid­nap?
Who’s cousin they will kill?
Who’s house they will bomb?

Man­sour Nogaidana for­mer mil­i­tant fought in Iraq before said

Mil­i­tants have found other routes, mostly through Syria. Recent suc­cesses by Saudi secu­rity forces in their bat­tle with al Qaeda mil­i­tants may have pushed more fight­ers towards Iraq.

Fares Houzam, a researcher on al Qaeda in Saudi Ara­bia, said he esti­mated up to 2,500 Saudis have trav­elled to Iraq since the U.S. inva­sion in March 2003, 400 of whom may have died there.

Saudi offi­cials decline to say how many fight­ers may have slipped across into Iraq, but sug­gest num­bers are much lower.
