Confusion on Al-Mada’an

So the story on the gunmen abducting 60 Iraqi hostages turn out to true after a day of confusion, yesterday and on Al-Jazeera, Muqtada al-sadr deny that any hostage been taken in the city of al-mada’an, here [Arabic]

A spokesman from Al-Sadr office in Baghdad (Al-Draji) denies the news that about 80 persons been taken as hostages in Al-Mada’an city south Iraq.

A day later (today) and again on Al-Jazeera, they are confirming that military operations on it’s way to free the hostages, here [Arabic]

A shia official source told Al-Jazeera that Iraqi sources with support of the American forces started a major military operation to free the hostages in Al-mada’an city. Gunmen threat to kill 150 shia hostages in 24 hours.

But there is something new in this article didn’t reported before by another media sources, Iranians are involved .

The Imam of mosque in Al-Mada’an city told Al-jazeera that the whole problem started after 300 Iranians entered the city, their leader Muhammed Mahud wants to revenge from Iraqis so they started the looting in the city.

On the same report, more confusion.

Al-jazeera called the police station in the city, a lieutenant answered the call and say that everything is calm in the city and there are no problems at all.

Cnn reported today a new version of the story, here

A prominent Sunni tribe had kidnapped several members of a rival Shiite tribe, and in response, the Shiite tribe kidnapped several Sunnis.

It is a terror act if it’s a tribal war or not, these are civilians held hostages and whoever did that is a terrorist. I wish safety for these hostages so they can go back to their families and fair justice for these terrorists.
