LB is in denial. There is no possible motive for the US to undermine the core of any viable democratic society (professional/middle class) by killing them. Iran might have a motive to promote destabilization through the destruction of secular/educated professionals as it would make establishing a fundamentalist regime easier. It is especially interesting that she makes no mention of Iraqis murdering Iraqis. These non-sectarian professionals will not fit in the totalitarian vision of Iraq being imposed on us by ugly politics of ethnicity and sectarian divide. Baghdad dwellers can tolerate the pools of dirty water, power cuts and the like. They cannot however tolerate politics driven be sectarian motives and hence they are fleeing by the thousands.
