The U.S. military has stumbled across the first evidence of a death squad within Iraq’s Interior Ministry after the detention last month of 22 men wearing police commando uniforms who were about to shoot a Sunni man, according to the American general overseeing the training of Iraqi police.
The men turned out not to be police commandos but were employed by the Ministry of Interior as highway patrolmen, according to Maj. Gen. Joseph Peterson, who commands the civilian police training teams in Iraq.
“We have found one of the death squads,” he said. “They are a part of the police force of Iraq.”

Does this surprise you??? Have you watched the news within the last 3 years?
What makes you think the shia will forever accept being slaughtered with no response? In case you haven’t realized it, sunni death squads (you refer to them as freedom fighters) have been conducting both targeted AND random (against civilians) mass murders for several years now. Before that they did it officially under Saddam.
Its probably more likely that these shia ‘death squads’ are simply exacting revenge for the slaughter of their people. If you want to be protected by the law, you ought to try abiding by it.
In a peaceful environment, any civilized legal system is inefficiant due to built in barriers that deliberately protect the accused. This is a good thing. But when you are fighting terrorists who have no regard for the law and civilization, there will no doubt be instances where the ‘police’ will begin meting out justice as they see fit. Patience is not an inexhaustible commodity. This is unfortunate — but it is a bit disingenuous for the terrorists to cry foul when they get a taste of their own medicine.
Here is an idea:
Cut the shit. Stop murdering people. Support/respect the government (not the individual people necessarily, but the idea of the rule of law embodied in the government and the political process), and the violence will stop. I know you pretend not to understand this (its a tough concept), but give it a try.
Just try it. See what happens.
You can always strap bombs to yourself and murder school teachers next year if you get the urge.

Charles go to the Bush administration and talk to them, tell them your views, and demad they follow them, go to their forums and their supporters and debate for the rule of law to be respected, you are needed there, U.S is your country.
