Yanar Moham­mad, head of the woman rights orga­ni­za­tion said: crimes of the occu­pa­tion are the major threat to Iraqi women rights, before women could go to work and study safely, today they are exposed to many threats such as kid­nap­pings, mur­der and rape.

This announce­ment con­firmed by the last acci­dent hap­pened to Iraqi girls stu­dents in Mosul when an Amer­i­can Mil­i­tary woman stepped inside their school bus ask­ing them to take off their clothes.

In addi­tion, the US occu­pa­tion author­i­ties — in an appar­ent effort of divide-and-rule — encour­aged sec­tar­i­an­ism by divid­ing up author­ity based not on tech­ni­cal skills or ide­o­log­i­cal affil­i­a­tion but eth­nic and reli­gious identity.
