1– I know that the Dutch vote’s results are not very impor­tant for the peo­ple out­side Hol­land but being sounded by major polit­i­cal pow­ers from all the sides makes it always an indi­ca­tor for Europe’s polit­i­cal mood for.
Elec­tion results was no sur­prise, a major win for the left, social­ists par­ties and a humil­i­at­ing defeat for the extreme right parties.

2– I received an email from an Iraqi Blog­ger olive­branch, she is an Iraq liv­ing in Aus­tralia but she never lived in Iraq, she asked me to write about Mid­dle East­ern cul­ture, pol­i­tics, eco­nom­ics and his­tory to fight against igno­rance and pro­mote cross-culture acceptance.

This email came exactly in the same time we Iraqi Blog­gers in pri­vate email dis­cus­sion to write about our own cul­ture, prin­ci­ples and values.

We must show the world we are not a bunch of bar­bar­ians who talk pol­i­tics and wars only, show them we are a nor­mal peo­ple enjoy life, peace, music and books as every­body else.

Write about a book you read even in Ara­bic, a music you like or a the­ater play you saw, I know not many peo­ple will be inter­ested in this but your posts will start the first igni­tion and this is the main goal.

    The less polit­i­cal, the more refresh­ing. Not that you should stop post­ing polit­i­cal ideas, just break things up once in a while.
