The Passion of The Decider
By Sidney Blumenthal
The president doesn’t care that he is reviled. He is a martyr, and someday all will see his glory. Meanwhile, he’s got Karl doing his dirty work.
United States of Israel?
By Robert Fisk
April 27, 2006
When two of America’s most distinguished academics dared to suggest that US foreign policy was being driven by a powerful ‘Israel Lobby’ whose influence was incompatible with their nation’s own interests, they knew they would face allegations of anti-Semitism. But the episode has prompted America’s Jewish liberals to confront their own complacency. Might the tide be turning?
By Ghali Hassan

President Ahmedinejad is now threatened with assassination by Israeli-sponsored state terrorists. The threat against a democratically elected head of state passed without condemnation in Western capitals.

By Chris Buckley

Test blast in Nevada
By Robert Gehrke
April 18, 2006
A powerful blast scheduled at the Nevada Test Site in June is designed to help war planners figure out the smallest nuclear weapon able to destroy underground targets. And it has caused a concern that it signals a renewed push toward tactical nuclear weapons.
Jon I took your Arabic sentence and translated it back to English, this is what I got:
Now I could bet that is not what you first wrote in English :)
This is a translation word by word, its not so easy to figure out what you are trying to say as you can see :)
What was it you wrote?
Jon, Nadia
Thank you, I tested it, it’s not very good but at least people can get an idea about the translated subject
LadyBird… please delete the note from the Wannabe “jon” above. Sorry pal, only room for one of me in this universe. :-D
Nadia… what I said was something to the nature of “the translator works pretty well from Arabic into English, but the grammar is a little bit off”. I guess their translation from English into Arabic is not quite as functional as the Arabic to English. The grammar was off when I translated one Arabic page, but it was plenty readable. In fact, I’d have to say that the translator did a much better job from Arabic to English than most Americans do just translating their English thoughts into English text. ;-)
Hi Jon and LadyBird!
Hi nadia
Hi Nadia… I heard that you’ve been feeling a little down lately. Hope you’re getting back to fighting form, because I’ll be on vacation this coming week and Charles is going to need someone to keep him in line! ;-)
Enjoy your vacation Jon
Thank you! I’ll try. It is somewhat of a working vacation. I have to start preparing to move cross-country at the end of the month. I’m going to infiltrate a red state. ;-)
Have a good vacation Jon!
