“The Yacoubian Building” and “The Danish Experiment”

Yakobian

It’s not Egypt vs homos or Egypt vs “freedom of opinionâ€?, it’s Egypt vs sexual scenes [see the post below].

“As a citizen I felt hurt when I watched it. I respect freedom of expression and creativity, but this is neither.”

Egypt debates controversial film

The movie sends confused messages, you just don’t know if the writer opposing democracy or he is against it.

Gay sex scenes unnecessary too long,

The writer of the novel “The Yacoubian Building” is a doctor used to live in an apartment in the Yacobian building.
As part of the building, there were small chambers with metal-bars in the form of cages so that the residents can keep their unneeded and unused things, but after years the cages were used by the residents as sleeping and living places for their servants [AbuGhraib].

An aged actor “Adil Imam” used to be No1 in Egypt and Arab world, still living in the echoes of his past glory, refusing to see his “charisma” is gone, just like everything else in life.

That is why in his recent “movies” he uses many sexual scenes to attract many audience and “movie goers” as possible, and that was the case of
The Yacoubian Building“.

Take the movie “The Danish Experiment” from the same actor for example:

A Danish cultural adviser [a young, sexy, blond, blue eyes, fashion model posture woman] visiting Egypt to build a bridge between the two cultures so she stays by the minister of culture house with his family [3 sons in their twenties and his wife is dead].

The Danish woman began to force her western culture in the house and on the family, for sure as many Arabs see western cultures are based on sex [or this is what they think].

The movie is full of nudity and silly sex remarks and jokes.

I personally wouldn’t allowed my children to watch such a movie.
