For the first time, UAE newspaper Al-Khaleej managed to interview few Lebanese fighters, telling their tales about the war against the Zionists.
After 15 days of fighting, at the road between Marun al-Ras and Bint Jbeil, the resistance ambushed a car carrying the Israeli “military intelligence”, when the car reached the ambush point, the fighters attacked it from a 10 meters distance, they killed all the passangers and burned the car.
When an Israeli rescue team tried to save the first group, they faced the same destiny, which required the intervention of Israeli air force, that had nothing to bomb only the disintegrated corpses of Zionist troops.
Another fighter tell:
In the Marun al–Ras, a group of fighters [does not exceed the number of one hand fingers
“causing them heavy losses in their first lines”
In total, Israel only lost a little over a 100 people in the conflict with almost a third of that being civilians. Not what I’d call heavy losses.
