He was invited to serve for two months in the army reserve in 1999 and did not attend the ser­vice, escaped to the marshes area and left his fam­ily, there he joined the Badr Brigade, and then he trav­elled to Tehran, to the head­quar­ters of the Badr Brigade,

He also killed a law pro­fes­sor at the events because of the professor’s insis­tence low marks in his col­lege years.

Most of these killings hap­pened under Jaafri — gov­ern­ment, polit­i­cal ana­lysts and observers con­sider it the worst gov­ern­ment in the his­tory of occu­pied Iraq.
