Yesterday, a group of Arab States went to the Security Council, begging for peace, and I say to them: I will not tell you about the removal of “Israel”, I will tell you about the settlement that you ask, How will you get an honorable settlement as you say if you don’t want to fight.
You will not fight for the sake of Lebanon, not for Gaza, not for the West Bank in and not even for the sake of Quds [Jerusalem]. How you will get to a reasonable settlement and you say, every day you will not use the weapon of oil. Even somebody tells you about the oil as weapon, you will criticize him and make fun of him, telling him this is a failure plan!
You don’t want to fight and you don’t to embargo [Israel], you don’t allow Arab people to get off the street and demonstrate, you don’t allow for the resistance in Palestine to arm themselves, you don’t give them money and block their salaries. You do all this for Condoleezza Rice’s eyes, how would you get a just and honorable settlement, is Israel recognize you in the first place?
I tell you today that the Israelis look to the resistance in Lebanon with respect.
