Condoleezza Rice visit the ME: A New Sectarian Map

Ms. Con­doleezza Rice, the Amer­i­can Sec­re­tary of State tour the Arab region, osten­si­bly to revive the peace process, real­ity is to extract and lay­ing the foun­da­tions for a new alliance called the Union of the Mod­er­ate Arab Coun­tries, in prepa­ra­tion for the expected mil­i­tary con­fronta­tions against the extrem­ist States, Iran, Syria, Hezbol­lah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, or what Amer­ica calls the axis of evil.

The new alliance based on ide­o­log­i­cal hos­til­ity to Iran and its nuclear pro­gram, con­sid­er­ing that the Iran­ian threat to the Gulf States and the mod­er­ate Arab states, much more than the Israeli dan­ger. Israel does not intend to estab­lish a Shi­ite cres­cent and not have Jew­ish com­mu­ni­ties. in ref­er­ence to the Shi­ite minor­ity in the Gulf emi­rates, as cur­rently the new Arab-Israeli alliance thinkers promoting.

In the same con­text, it can be pointed out that the Arab coun­tries are no longer talk­ing about the dan­ger of the Israeli nuclear reac­tor and the need for a region free of all nuclear weapons.

American-Israeli strat­egy wants the new sec­tar­ian based divi­sion of the Arabs in par­tic­u­lar and Mus­lims in gen­eral, a Sunni camp to face the Shi­ite camp, and the trans­fer of cur­rent expe­ri­ences in Iraq and Lebanon to var­i­ous parts of the Islamic world, to fuel hatred, and attend the clash between the Sun­nis and Shi­ites to dis­tract both par­ties from the Israeli pres­ence and dangers.

Israel will be the ninth mem­ber of the allaince of mod­er­ate Arab states, The ally that can be relied upon in the upcom­ing war against Iran if the nego­ti­a­tions over its nuclear pro­gram failed.

To facil­i­tate this acces­sion process, it is expected that Ms. Con­doleezza gets some super­fi­cial con­ces­sions from the Jew­ish state in the cur­rent round, such an eas­ing of the block­ade on Pales­tin­ian areas, and the open­ing of the cross­ings, the release of some pris­on­ers. and to facil­i­tate the arrival of a large amounts of money to the office of Pres­i­dent Abbas, The par­tial resump­tion of the nego­ti­a­tions after hold­ing a sum­mit meet­ing with Ehud Olmert, the Israeli Prime Minister.

On the other hand, tight­en­ing the noose around the States and the mem­ber orga­ni­za­tions of the axis of evil or the extrem­ists, this explains Ehud Olmert’s declaration:

He intends to retain the Golan Heights for­ever, and the oppo­si­tion of any nego­ti­a­tions with Syria. After the recent war in Lebanon, there had been a lot of ques­tion marks about the chances of sur­vival of the Jew­ish state, there­fore, strive to be resub­mit­ted to the region in a dif­fer­ent way, any coun­try allied with the sur­round­ing Sunni Arab, fight­ing wars against its enemy in Iran. It seems that the deal has been held in this regard.

It was not coin­ci­den­tal that many Arab-States sup­ported the state­ment of Shi­ite Iraqi cleric Hus­sein Al-Muaid when he said that Iran adopts a national project which is based on con­tempt for the Arabs, The con­trol of the area, and they have become more dan­ger­ous than Amer­ica and Israel.

This explains the cur­rent sit­u­a­tion of the Arab nation­al­ism revive from the coun­tries and gov­ern­ments fought fiercely nation­al­ist over the last thirty years for the ben­e­fit of the Amer­i­can mod­er­ate Islam.

Ms. Rice’s visit is the begin­ning of a ten­dency to use the Sunni Arabs, to deal with Iran in the inter­ests of the American-Israeli project, just as the British Empire used the Sunni Arabs them­selves, to under­mine the Sunni Islamic Ottoman Empire, led to the estab­lish­ment of the Hebrew State and the divi­sion of the Arab region into small states.

The dif­fer­ence is that the scheme to over­throw the Ottoman Empire began a hun­dred years ago, his­tory is repeat­ing itself, How­ever, col­lu­sion and stu­pid Arabs are the sole con­stant. Rep­re­sen­ta­tives changed, but one play, one goal.
