- An explosion today targeted a US military patrol in Palestine-Street — Mustansiriya neighborhood – Baghdad, exploded on four Hamvee’s
US forces blocked the area after the blast for an hour and half, evacuated the wreckage during that time. (source)
- Four American soldiers were killed this morning when a bomb exploded strong explosion targeted US forces in Baiji in the north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, resulted in the destruction of the vehicles and the death of four soldiers. Following the explosion, the occupation forces surrounded the neighborhood and arrested 15 people. (source)
- The destruction of two tankers belonging to a Kuwaiti police, are used for transporting fuel to American occupation forces in the city of Tikrit north of the capital Baghdad.
Quoting eyewitnesses the two tankers destroyed by a side road explosive devices, added that the drivers were killed by the explosion which took place at 10:15 am local time; ambulances were seen as American military were moving the bodies in plastic bags. (source)
- This morning, Iraqi resistance, using light-medium weapons and hand grenades attacked a group of American soldiers in the area Hawijha near.
The attack launched by a number of resistance fighters was quick and surprise and then very quickly withdraw from the site. Residents from Hawijha don’t know any details of the casualties. (source)
