This is good news LB! “By voting overwhelmingly for the Arms Trade Treaty resolution, the international community has thrown a lifeline to millions of people” this is a very good step forward indeed! : )

Sure the US voted against BUT the disgrace is also that Iraq “Abstained�. With all the weapons that are killing Iraqis and with our history under Saddam that representative DID NOT see it as a reason to vote for this important arms trade treaty. Shame.
