Maliki and Bush meeting, don’t expect much

He humil­i­ated him­self again, just like his last humil­i­a­tion in France when he was received by –French Sport Min­is­ter– while “Jack Chirac” receives kid politi­cians like Saád Al-harriri in the air­port by himself.

The same goes to Maliki-Bush meeting.

I am imag­in­ing Bush is going to say:

The US gov­ern­ment is com­mit­ted to sup­port of the Iraqi peo­ple until the final vic­tory. [because this is what he repeat­ing for six years].

Maliki will shack his head with agree­ment and maybe he will say thank you but inside his head he will think:

Where is this alleged sup­port? I can’t move a sin­gle mil­i­tary unite with­out per­mis­sion from you.

And Bush will say his favorite text:

It is not in the inter­est of Amer­ica to remain in Iraq, we will with­draw as soon as Iraq is not in need of our troops, There­fore, we are work­ing day and night on the train­ing the Iraqi mil­i­tary forces, so to replace our troops.

At the end of the meet­ing there will be a press conference.

Maliki: it was very pro­duc­tive meet­ing; the US pres­i­dent showed his sup­port for the Iraqi gov­ern­ment and Iraqi peo­ple and promised to give more sup­port to until Iraq can win the bat­tle against Al-Qaeda. [I don’t think the Iraqi text writer can do more than this].

Bush: I’ve met him. I’ve looked into his eyes. This is some­body who is deter­mined to do what is right for the Iraqi peo­ple. [I bet the Amer­i­can text writer will repeat condoleeza’s words when she met Maliki, because it was very catchy and decep­tive]

At the same time I don’t know how many Iraqis will be killed by US-Iran-Maliki death squads.
