Kasparov: “We will march!”

A Russian anti-terror hit team raided the offices of the oppositional “United Civil Front” in Moscow. It’s founder, Garry Kasparov, was removed from a German TV news discussion, at the behest of Russian authorities. Things are looking dangerous for the former world chess champion.

Garry Kasparov: I was at the national congress of our coalition “The other Russia”, when ten or eleven people of the counterterrorist unit of the Moscow police came into the office of the United Civil Front. They showed a search warrant, which our lawyer later identified as false, they locked our staff members in the office and forced them to switch off their mobile phones. They claimed we were engaged in “extremist activities”. It is the first time that they use this term against a major opposition group.

Gulf-countries refuse to cooperate with the UN
Sources told Al-Akhbar that some Gulf-countries [Saudi Arabia] refuse to cooperate with Hariri's Investigation Commission.

Funny, Ban Ki-Moon said that Hariri tribunal will start at March, while the Tribunal's website still asks for professionals and investigators [at least three].

Iranian troops in Eritrea
According to the Eritrean opposition group, Iran stationed its troops in Eritrea to control Red Sea Port of Bab Al-Mandab.

Syria's conditions to talk with the U.S.
Syrian sources said that Syria put two conditions [the source says they are not conditions but demands] for further talks with the U.S.

- Remove Syria's name from the list of countries support international terrorism.

- Abandon the "Syria accountability" law, the U.S put after the invasion of Iraq.

Another source revealed that Syria president Bashar Al-Assad will visit Jordan after the Muslim celebration Eid.
