Roads to Iraq

Again, What is IraqSlogger?

If you already read “Daily Kos entry “When Iraqi Blogs Fall Silent, I hope people saw the timing of this post, to help you more, compare the date with this report

Former CNN News Chief To Launch ‘IraqSlogger’ Site

Many Iraqi Bloggers stopped talking politics, others disabled the comments (even if they write about some private matters).

In total, all Iraqi Blogs are/were hijacked by dark, underworld of CIA and other neocons associations, and Iraqslogger is one another step in the same direction, to silence the rest of the Iraqi Bloggers.

More than a year ago Jihad Al-Khazin Chief Editor of Al-Hayat wrote series articles [about 7 article..translated to English also] about Arab Blogs, his last words are:

The Blogs hosted by some suspicious conservative American associations supports the war in Iraq and Afghanistan will lose their truthfulness and credibility,

I received this email from indigo [I asked the permission to publish it, Thank you indigo], and it completes Mr. Khazin sentence, explaining more about iraqslogger.

(The name apparently derives from a Rumsfeld quote, that the war in Iraq is “a long, hard slog.”) That domain name is registered to Jordan Eason, CEO of Praedict and a former news editor with CNN, who was sacked after saying that the military targeted journalists.

My instinct is that this site is:

(a)part of Eason’s “rehabilitation” with the Republicans and (b) part of the US government’s long-term scheme to put Sunnis back in charge in Iraq under US control to appease Saudi Arabia (Sunni) and keep Iran (Shia) out and control the oil.

I also have a big problem with a lot of this web site’s assumptions, starting with calling the invasion of Iraq a “war”. War was never declared, and Iraq was/is a sovereign country that was no threat at all to the West.

  1. Of course, Iraq Slogger has only “first mover advantage”. What it is doing - being a sort of American “one stop shop” for news and reports (and black propaganda) about Iraq - could be done by any large organisation, if there turned out to be a real demand for such a source, which I doubt. I mean, even Halliburton/KBR could set up a similar enterprise (and would, if they thought it profitable) with their own “stable” of editors and “stringers”, radio and tv satellites and stations. If Jordan Eason’s venture stays afloat, it will be because the Republicans are funding it in a desperate attempt to “control the message” reaching the US public about the real cost of the invasion and occupation of Iraq, at least for another two years and/or until the US has installed her own “client dictator” in Baghdad to control Iraq’s oil on behalf of (now insolvent) America. So, Mr Bush, who is on your short list of potential candidates for the post of successor dictator to Saddam Hussein? Anyone we know?

  2. Hardly.

The fight contines. This blog is that of a patriot, so thank you Roads!

    Long live the Iraqi resistance.
