Roads to Iraq

Live reports from Beirut

Day 4

All Al-Jazeera Presenters wearing Black today

—Arab reaction—

- The vanguard of Lebanon’s Arab Socialist Party

The eternal symbol of the strength and resistance

The invaders and their collaborators will notice that you are bigger than death, they will realize that martyr Saddam is not a less obstacle from Saddam the leader, nothing stop the march of the Iraqi people towards victory and liberation, the resistance continues and the Mujahideen continue to advance the liberalization.

Your martyrdom Sir is a push to escalate the resistance and achieve victory. Sir we will celebrate your memory, in every new day’s sunshine in our hearts and our consciences and our words in spite of all the hate.

Bless the people and the nation who gave birth to men like Saddam Hussein and his comrades.

- alarabalyawm…….The Green Zone government can execute President Saddam Hussein whenever it chooses, his guards can assassinate him at any time, but the blood shed in the streets of Baghdad will not stop.

as the Iraqi government backed by Iran and the American occupation have got the lust for revenge

- (al-bayader)….The truth is that the recent execution of Saddam Hussein was an honor and pride to him because he was executed and died at the hands of the occupation forces and their collaborators who feared him even at the final moments of his execution as wear masks for fear of resistance revenge.

Enough pride that he marched towards the gallows before his physical departure chanting words will never be forgotten by history:

“Long live Iraq, Long live the Arab nation and long live Palestine.” The sentence is sufficient to give the immortal medal.

Saddam Hussein has gone, but Iraq will remain strong and united thanks to the resistance.

(This Blog “Roadstoiraq” Says) Moments of pride and honor in the memory of Saddam Hussein

- When Iran bombed an Iraqi school Basra killing 78 children, Iraqis asked Saddam to take revenge, and he promised to do at the same night he sent 78 scud missiles on Tehran.

- Not a single foreigner or asylum seeker was killed in Saddam’s reign, nobody was killed for sectarian reasons or because of his religious believes.

- Saddam Hussein sent 49 rockets on Israel and challenged any Arab leader to send the 50th.

P.S

Christian community here in Lebanon and the neighbourhood where I live, prayed yesterday for Saddam, and received us this morning with tears.

Considering the thieves who inherited Saddam’s power, the traitors who came on the American tanks after the invasion of Iraq, and the criminals who torture and kill innocent people

Perhaps we deserve everything Saddam did

Day 2&3

2nd Update

Arab times reported that Saddam is already executed this morning, and the frequent news of the execution is intended to absorb the hostile reactions of Iraqi resistance and the Arab world.

End 2nd Update

Update
Reported right now that Saddam will be executed tonight

Saddam dies, they executed Iraq before they executed Saddam, the resistance continues, I think that the Iraqi resistance tomorrow can show the world that Al-Hakim, Al-Maliki, Al-Chalabi, and the rest of the gang and everybody sold himself to the Americans will never escape justice.

Long live Iraq occupation-free
Long live Iraq, US puppets-free

Amnesty International condemns Iraqi Appeal Court verdict against Saddam Hussein and co-accused

“The trial of Saddam Hussein and his seven co-accused before the Supreme Iraqi Criminal Tribunal (SICT) was deeply flawed and unfair, due to political interference which undermined the independence of the court and other serious failings,”

End Update

Apologies for not writing anything yesterday but blame it on the unstable internet connection in Lebanon.

Iraq

- I learned from a very reliable sources that three weeks ago there was a coup in Iraq, by the Iraqi army, they surrounded the Green Zone and all the streets leading to the Green Zone [From Al-Karada and Al-Mansour], the army also forced a curfew on the neighborhoods around the Green Zone, but the coup was called off at the last minutes by the Americans.

- Islamemo reported that occupation forces desperately trying to stop Iraqi resistance operation by breaking the Arms of 50 young men in Ramadi after they arrested them.

Lebanon

lebanon

Here is an image I made from the people’s demonstrations in Lebanon, to destroy the myth and US Media propaganda.

The image from Lebanese Communist Party demonstration and this at the gates where you can enter the demonstrator’s tents

Text says:

- Hey..Saniora [Lebanon PM] if your government is a resistance government…Then tea is the strongest weapon in the world [referring to Seniora government doing nothing only drinking tea while meeting].

-We are the Lebanese poor, we seek revenge from your imperialist government.

Day 1

—-Update—-
- 20 members of Mahdi Army killed by Iraqi resistance today in the revange for the 3 raped and killed student girls.

- Reported right now on Al-Sharqyia TV that Mahmoud Othman [Talabani advisor..he is aKurd also] said that there are documents against the Iranians arrested few days ago by the Americans prove they are involved in terror operations.

The strange thing about this announcement is: Talabani advisor saying this while Talabani said he himself invited them

—End Update—-

Very bad weather in Lebanon, its even snowing in the mountains around Beirut, so it was a good opportunity to sit with few Iraqis who used to work in the Iraqi media and fled the country recently saying; media workers are targeted right now.

The people I met told me that the member of Sadr block killed today by US occupation forces is actually the brother in law of “Abu Deraa”, who was killed last month by Iraqi resistance.

Also

Less than a week ago most of US media reported this story “Sunni Insurgents Launch TV Channel” [you can watch the channel in Lebanon also], when I showed the story to the Iraqis here they started a hysterical laugh, then I understand from them that everybody working in the media in Iraq knows that Al-Zawraa is broadcasting from Ramadi, hosted and protected by the American forces.

They asked me: don’t you find, it is silly that US forces bombed every Iraqi broadcast at the war, three years ago even secret TV places and now they can’t find Al-Zawraa? [logical question]

I can record some the broadcast if people interested to watch, just drop me a line.

P.S.

Because of continues electricity problems here, my internet time is limited.

Starting from tomorrow, this entry will stay on the front page, and will be updated daily with live reports from Beirut.

This BBC radio programme featured several experienced foreign correspondents who talked about what they think will happen in 2007. Iraq came up a lot, as did Iran.

Some questions were not asked. Such as the global effect of the USA’s insolvency; or about the link between the UK’s energy security and her policies in the Middle East; or about the outlook for Palestine. I particularly enjoyed the metaphor of George Bush (President of the most reviled country in the world) being like a man sitting in a Las Vegas casino at 4.00am having gambled everything away, left with nothing, and being about to be escorted out of the building by burly security officers.

There is a Listen Again button on that web page.
