It looks to me as though the price of gasoline is still being subsidized. There were a number of interesting (if disturbing) things posted at Roads to Iraq this week but I found this comment about the military engagement in Najaf yesterday the most interesting: apparently, the Shi'ite sect that was engaged was anti-Iran.
