Misleading headline: 250 Insurgents Killed in Battle

The details say:

Provincial Gov. Assad Sultan Abu Kilel said the assault was launched because the insurgents planned to attack Shiite pilgrims and clerics during ceremonies marking Ashoura

The reality is:

They are a group called “Heaven Soldiers, a Shiite sect. inside the main sect.

I hope you people heard about “Al-Mahdi“, a person called “Ahmed Al-Hasanâ€? who claimed that he is the guardian of Imam Mahdiâ€?, met him several times and “Imam Mahdi” asked him to be his successor, crazy or not but his followers and believers are increasing.

For sure this is not good news for the Shiite religious authority in Najaf [competition???, specially in the Shiite Ashura ceremony, which means that the sky will rain money], so they informed the “Green Zone” the necessity to arrest at the head of this group and his followers, but it seems the group was well prepared for this attack.

P.S.

The group is [anti-Iran] though
