For Arabic readers, this is the full [Arabic, 28 minutes] interview with Taliban military leader “Dadallah”, as screened by Aljazeera.
Although Israeli website “MEMRI” translated
The plan of giving each district in Afghanistan to one the NATO’s armies failed, these districts became a heavy weight on these armies.
There are two ways to solve the problem:
1– To cancel this plan.
2– The Americans must give more support to this plan. Both will not happen, then they must look for an alternative plan, this is defeat.
What Dadallah said was exactly echoed by French newspaper “Le Mond” today, in their editorial “NATO and Taliban”
South of Afghanistan has become a new battlefield, and the voices of diplomats and Western governments participating in field operations began to cast doubts about the chances of victory in this war.
The Taliban who grow in the Pakistani Intelligence Services and Madrasas, are not gaining land only but the hearts and minds of the Afghani people.
Dadallah continues
At the time of the Russian occupation, raid operations were different, the Russians didn’t raid a house without a permission from the house owner, they didn’t searched Afghan women…..compare this to what the Americans are doing right now, they searched houses without permission, and harass women
With Dadallah saying this, todays report says:
investigation had so far found that 49 civilians lost their lives in the operation in the Zerkoh Valley, about 120 kilometres (75 miles) south of Herat city
I hope that filled a gap western media refused to mention, and you have some idea about the reality of the operation “liberate Afghanistan”.
