- alkhaleej news­pa­per reported that Iraqi PM “Mah­moud Oth­man” mem­ber of Iraqi Kur­dis­tan Alliance said today,

The Zion­ists were behind the deci­sion to dis­solve the for­mer Iraq Army fol­low­ing the Anglo-American inva­sion of Iraq about four years ago.

This came under Zion­ist schemes to get pow­er­ful Arab armies away [Iraq and Egypt] from mil­i­tary con­flicts with Israel,

Oth­man added:

Amer­i­can forces do not want a strong Iraqi army because they don’t trust the Iraqi Army.

Iraqi Army com­plains that the occu­pa­tion pro­vides them with old weapons unfit for com­bat, includ­ing tanks date back to 40 years ago at a time when mil­lions of dol­lars went to build cement walls.
