The so called “unity accord” is to renew a 41 years old failed alliance to divide Iraq

Some American Bloggers reported the so called “unity accord” a “Good news”, and blaming their own media for not reporting it.

Here we will see why the Sunnis are not impressed by the new so called “the new alliance”.

This alliance, which was announced in Baghdad, is to renew a 41 years old alliance between the two factions was signed in 1966, in northern Iraq. [notice the similarity in events and characters]

The characters

The old version was signed by the late Sayed Mahdi Al-Hakim, [the elder son of the Shiites Mr. Mohsen Hakim’s father Abdel Aziz al-Hakim] and Mohammad Karim Al Kurdi, [who represented Mullah Mustafa Barzani, father of Massoud Barzani], a historic alliance blessed by the Shah of Iran and Israeli intelligence that year.

The aim

Aimed to end decades of Arabs, Sunni domination of power in Iraq [Al-hakim family never considered themselves as Iraqis, they are Iranians and their loyalty always to Iran], and to divide Iraq into three separated regions.

Background

British planes bombarded the Kurds headquarters in Sulaymaniyah, who chosen a king, Sheikh Mahmoud for their few-days-lived Kingdom of Kurdistan, the British interests did not allow the establishment of a Kurdish state in northern Iraq, introduced the Kurdish provinces under the Iraqi state, which was a mandate under the British rule.

Kurdish and Shiite parties needed to grab power in Iraq from the Sunni Arabs, and then to establish a dialogue with those willing _ as individuals _ to join the Alliance or to be a part of it [but not influential].

In the agreement, Iraqi wealth has to be divided between the three factions: One third to go to the Kurds, another third to the Shiites and another third will be put as common interests, public utilities and to cover the Sunni quota.

Dividing the Iraqi army into six battalions, two under the Shiites leaders, two for the Kurds leaders and two for the other minorities, including Sunnis, Army command will be a joint among Kurds and Shiite.

This plan has been blessed by the Shah of Iran who found a way to dismember Iraq and end any possible danger comes against Iran’s interests, were he used Israeli advisers and experts to implement this scheme.

Al-Hakim saw that the Iranians support for the Kurdish rebels could give the Kurds a larger share of than the third, he met with Shah of Iran and leaders of the Iranian SAVAK intelligence, such as General Mansour and Colonel Ali Akbar Frazian and warned them from Mustafa Al-Barzani and insisting that they need to develop a policy that moves Barzani and the Kurdish leadership under the Shiite umbrella, to prevent any support or assistance to Kurds only if sign-approved by Hakim, his children and his senior representatives.

The Shah of Iran and SAVAK agreed to this plan, and when Barazani asked Iran for arms and weapons to stage a coup in Baghdad, Tehran answers that he must ask Al-Hakim approval first. Barazani knew the change in the Iranian position, he secretly sent a message to Saddam and al-Bakr telling what had happened in details and submits information about meetings in Tehran and his willingness to cooperate with them rather than cooperate with the Shah of Iran and the Israeli intelligence service.

The Iraqi governments announced the discovery of an Iranian conspiracy and executed a group of Iraqi officers who contacted the Iranians, then an agreement announced among Iraqi government and the Kurdish leadership [in March].

The Shiites and the Shah of Iran decided to get their revenge and destroy the Kurdish rebel, Mullah Mustafa A-Barazani became a refugee in the United States.

Conclusion

This alliance is to the benefit of Israel and the neo-conservatives in Washington who care about the security of Israel rather than the security of the United States itself and to achieve the following objectives:

First: To distance the Arab countries [Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and the Gulf states] from any influence or interference in the Iraqi arena to keep the yard open to Israel and the Western Powers.

Second: the marginalization of the roles Turkey and Iran in Kurdistan and the protection of the Kurds of Turkey and Iran, also give Barzani and Talabani opportunity to sell themselves as national heroes to the Kurdish community.

Third: ending the pan-Arabism in Iraq and the role of the Sunnis locally, and the conversion of the Arabs and Sunnis in Iraq to refugees in their own country or to neighboring countries.

Fourth: Creating bases for Israel and western powers in the Gulf and the Indian Ocean and to enable Israel allied with the neo-conservatives to dominate the new Middle East which will include Iran and Turkey in addition to the Arab League.
