Ali al-Majid to be executed within 48 hours

- Reported on ali­raqnews Ali Haasan Al-Majid was handed over to the Iraqis this after­noon, his exe­cu­tion will be within the com­ing 48 hours.

- Reported on almalaf, Sources from the Inte­rior Min­istry said that orders issued to them from the Amer­i­can [occu­pa­tion] forces to leave their posi­tions in Bagh­dad and move to the south­ern provinces.

The source said that the Min­istry of Defense joined by troops from Anbar formed by the Amer­i­cans will takeover the secu­rity in Bagh­dad from the police.
