Ba’ath Party statement about Istanbul Conference
- Arab Ba’ath Party statement about Istanbul Conference and the threats on Iraq’s northern borders
…The ethnic and sectarian ambitions of the two Kurdish parties are behind escalation of the PKK activities on the Kurdish borders…..
….The conference shows the fragility of Maliki’s government, and his readiness to be used as a tool by the Americans to gain some support that prevent the crash and the fall under the strikes of Iraqi resistance heroes….
- Two days ago I read very brief news about some kind of “behind closed doors” reconciliation conference in Jordan by the “Dead Sea” but today there are more details:
It was an American sponsored conference between parliamentary members and Iraqi opposition and it will be followed by another conference in Beirut later and in Rome.
Interesting is that representatives of Iraqi resistance groups were in the conference [no names or groups were mentioned]

We can supply the names of the ‘Resistance’ groups participating in these US sponsored ‘reconciliation’ conferences ourselves, Ladybird.
The so-called Political Council for the Iraqi Resistance (incorporating the ‘Jihad and Reform Front’ etc), has already been endorsed by an impressive array of notorious collaborators, starting with puppet vice-president Tariq Al-Hashemi of the Iraqi Islamic Party.

@NDHF editors: Nomen est omen: Yes indeed, you have proved to be creatures of TheUnited$tatesofMonsters
The AMSI should have taught you the basics of Islamic etiquette ethics and manner:
AHLAK
What was your intention by using the pictures of this repugnant creatures in relation with the Knights of Iraq and the Jihad and Liberation Front. Don’t you trust anymore in the power of your demagocic rhetorics? Shame and dishonour to you! I don’t believe that the AMSI would have approved such distasteful propaganda targeting fellow believers.
Remember that the Knights of Iraq welcomed their prospective martyrdom while shouting “Long live Iraq! Long live the Arab Nation, the Iraqi Army and Palestine!” They thanked Allah for according them this honourable end. They took a stand which any human being could be proud of.
Disciples of Josef Goebbels! Devote worshippers of your masters in the U$A, Israel and Iran.
You all have the sacred blood of Iraq’s Hero, Martyr President Saddam Hussein on your hands. TRAITORS!
The wedges you have created by spreading villainous lies are deep but you should know that the dark forces of the universe like YOU will never be able to destroy the TRUTH.
Brave fighters in the cause of Allah! Remain firm in the path of righteousness, honesty, sincerity and the Unity of Allah. Let that Unity enter into every vein and fibre of your being and continue the glorious task of Resistance; if necessary continue it into the next generation, until this building the FREE IRAQ reaches its completion.
Sons and daughters of Iraq! Denounce the traitors! UNITE in the Resistance and fulfill the precious legacy of the Guardian Martyr of Iraq, President Saddam Hussein!

Meryem, it is not our fault that somebody opts to side with the enemy.
It is however our duty as members of the Iraqi Resistance to protect our armed forces, the true Iraqi Army, the Liberation Front, the hope of Iraq and the world as well.
We’re adamant in our attitude.

AMSI PRESS DEPARTMENT to meryemXXXXXX show details Nov 12 (1 day ago)
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
Dear Sister,
First of thanks a lot for your kind warnings and advices.
We -as AMSI- always think what you have written about it. We are agree with you % 100 on the Iraqi issues, the necessity of the unity.
About NDHF we are in contact with them. However, neither they represent us nor they are any part of our association.
As you are righty pointed out that AMSI’s policy, direction and activities are being published at our web pages in Arabic, English and Turkish. So these are the reference and original opinion of AMSI. the other news, comments and analysis can be taken from our web page, to add and say that we are a part of AMSI and etc is very wrong and does not reflect the reality.
We will write to NDHF team about this issue. As far as we know they are volunteerly working for the cause of Iraq while doing some mistakes owing to not having sufficient information. In addition, we believe that if you sent your advices, analysis and news about Iraq to them, we are sure that they will correct the mistakes and thank to you.Because we wrote them and saw that they are really open minded, activist and not fanatic people.
AMSI never says or acts against Iraqis whoever they are, against any group, sect or person. Owing to be muslim it is obligation to do so.
At last we are very thankful to you for your kind e-mail and prays.
We will be looking for your e-mails.
Sincerely yours.

Dear AMSI
Thank you for info
We are delighted of your transparency in this as well as every issue, just as we are: it makes cooperation easy and maintains the mutual trust which we appreciate a lot
Just a couple of comments to Meryem Reis email:
“Web page based in Finnland posing as partisan of the AMSI (…)”
- As you know from our reports and references to the now pretty heated Baath discussion, we ‘ve never claimed (nor will we) any membership of AMSI, should that not be the case in some (currently) distant future
What comes to your email quote
“to add and say that we are a part of AMSI and etc is very wrong and does not reflect the reality”
- We fully and sincerely agree!!!
And, of course, we agree, because never having said anything alike. A passage possibly misinterpreted by Meryem says:
“Our modest team was recently adopted by the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) as a “Iraqi Resistance faction”, a honour we after an extremely short consideration accepted more than gladly, having thus become members of the honourable Iraqi Resistance from 1th November 2007″….
- This we said indeed, because this is based to your previous email (On 31th October) writing:
You are another resistance faction from the Iraqi Resistance who are doing the best work in the world against the oppressors and occupiers!
We interpreted this as a sort of authorization for AMSI accepting NDHF as an Iraqi Resistance faction. Nothing of AMSI membership has been said by us above, nor will, as we are not Muslim Scholars, nor based in Iraq, so that such a claim would be nonsensical from the part of NDHF. To this we’d like to add that in these circumstances we see many advantages in the NDHF not being any part of AMSI, this allowing us to operate “unofficially” and - in the process - to say many things that would be far more complicated should we be members, as you readily understand as well
Just as Alison before, now this Meryem has this idea of NDHF claiming AMSI membership. We keep wondering how the people get such ideas though we never say anything of the sort.
Be that as it may, should we have erred, we readily apologize and ask you to point out any mistakes done by us: our friendship to AMSI, Iraqi Resistance and the Iraqi people is of permanent nature so that our attitudes won’t be changed by criticism of our position (we’re very aware that as non-Iraqis we’re not fully informed and making mistakes, this being the reason our always asking your advise after any major report of ours so to secure that we won’t be harming the Iraqi Resistance or the Iraqi People, our most valuable asset in this war).
Finally, thank you for your kind email, it’s really great hear from you
Stay alive,
Editor Louhi (on the behalf of the entire NDHF team)
p.s. You’re always welcome to improve our content.

Finally, what comes to all this, we’d like to point out that:
§1. WE ARE NOT AND DO NOT CLAIM TO BE MEMBERS OF the ASSOCIATION of MUSLIM SCHOLARS in IRAQ (AMSI). We are not muslim scholars and not based in Iraq (but Finland).
§2. We’re only members of political Iraqi Resistance, not an armed wing of the resistance to which we have no direct relationships.
§3. Finally, we are ordinary Finns not mastering Arabic, not belonging to any sect in Iraq (or anywhere nearby) so that we are fully non-sectarian what comes to our attitudes. This comes with the defect that we do not possess any inside information, so we derive our analysis pieces from the sources available to all using “proof by induction” ranging over our news stories so that all the claims we have obtained so far represent only the knowledge we’ve gained so far (this neatly put by AMSI as “they are volunteerly working for the cause of Iraq while doing some mistakes owing to not having sufficient information”): if NDHF is proven wrong, we’ll correct our mistake in the following reporting (this because when you use induction you cannot stick with false premises, otherwise deriving false conclusions from these). In this sense we’re independent.
We’re sorry for this mess, but always in such a hurry with all the reposting, reporting, analysis and commenting we haven’t had time to publish a decent site statement in which all this belongs.
We apologize and try to fix this as soon as we’ve finished with a couple of major reports that suddenly became far more extensive than I expected (I have to put together three separate reports on two topics, then discuss them throughly with the Analysis Team guys, which will take some time).
Thank you and sorry for taking your time with this off-topic
