Washington sponsored secret Dead Sea conference between Iraqi government and the resistance factions
According to Saudi newspaper Al-Watan that the “Dead-Sea conference” [we mentioned here], was secret conference sponsored by the US Foreign Ministry.
The newspaper stated that it was a four days conference attended by Iraqi politicians, officials from the Iraqi government and the Parliament with various Iraqi resistance factions, led by the Arab Ba’ath Socialist Party [Izzat Al-Douri wing, represented by Al-Maini, former Head of Information and Media University].
Al-Watan obtained a copy of the final statement that the document discussed several issues such as the form of the state, the government system and the future of the occupation forces in Iraq.
The attendees agreed on that forming “regions” [literally translation, maybe they mean Federal regions] at the present time is not in the discussion, it must begin after the withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq stressing that the Iraqi government take the full responsibilities including security and preserve the sovereignty of the country without any foreign interference, the necessity of rescheduling the withdrawal of foreign forces.
The disagreement came from some parties involved a paragraph says:
“The Iraqi government is the only party that negotiates the reconciliation after the arrangements of the withdrawal of foreign forces.” [I relay don’t understand what they mean by this…do they mean the only party that negotiates with the Americans?].
Kurdish MP Rawanduzi is one the conference attendees explained to Elaph:
The Ba’ath Party representatives participated in the meeting didn’t announce their affiliation but their approach seemed clear they from Ba’ath backgrounds, and I think they are second rank in the Party.
Contrary to all newspapers reports, INA interviewed Ba’ath Party [Al-Douri wing] spokesman Al-Murshdi and he denied the above reports saying:
The Ba’ath Party didn’t attend the “Dead Sea Conference” formally or informally, the people who participated in this meeting represented themselves and not the Ba’ath Party.
There is a clear political Ba’ath Party and resistance liberation and independence program, contains a comprehensive vision of the future of Iraq, the Ba’ath Party ready to sit with the Americans to implements Iraq’s rights, and not to discuss these rights.

The Arab Baath Socialist Party
One Arab Nation, with an eternal mission

A statement to our struggling people concerning “Istanbul meeting” and the escalation of threats and amassing troops on the Iraqi Turkish border.
Our people’s valiant sons and daughters!
We did explain in our previous statements the backgrounds and the reasons behind the threats and the dangers which besiege our beloved homeland from every parts and from every ones due to the US occupiers’ plans and practices and their dual agents and Iran’s leading to divide Iraq into miserable racist and ethnic entities following the destruction of the Iraqi state, the disband of the heroic Iraqi army and the growing fears of Iraq ethnic and sectarian partition’ regional fallout.. Furthermore the two puppet Kurdish separatist chauvinistic and racist behavior: i.e. “the Kurdish democratic Party and the Kurdish National union”, the growing Iranian influence in Iraq and the Turkish escalating threat against Iraq due to the PKK activities backed secretly and publicly with money, arms and logistical support by the two puppets Mazut Brazani and Jalal Talabani and their collaborators’ parties.
Our well aware and persevering people!
This situation has given place to the Istanbul meeting under the so called Iraq neighbors Congress held on the third of the current November.. reflecting in its contents and its final statement the suspicious US deals with the so called neighboring countries and the puppets Iraqi government in exchange of interest and mutual plan and objectives to share the spheres of influence on the detriment of our Iraqi people, his fate and his patriotic and national future and even the future of the Arab nation entirely. During this meeting the miserable Maliki government showed what a servile tool it was to execute the US orders in exchange of any help to avoid this puppet government from collapsing and the collapse of the whole US project on the hands of the heroic Iraqi Resistance and on the Mujahideens’. As usual Maliki promised nothing but lies to the Turkish government. Promises he is absolutely unable to keep.. At the same time Mazut Barzani and Talabani went on with their deceit maneuvers pretending that they will close some well known PKK posts in exchange to go ahead quickly with the partition of Iraq and sign more US’, Iran’ and Turkish’ deals on the detriment of Iraq.. The US ambassador Ryan Crooker himself announced the restart of the US Iranian meetings in Baghdad where the US imposed on the participants its agenda concerning Lebanon, and Palestine, while Recep Erdogan the Turk Prime Minister flew to Washington to meet Bush..and threatening still to intervene militarily in the north of Iraq..As for criminal Bush, he continue to show deep concern about the Maliki puppet government and its laziness as far as the “national reconciliation ” is concerned, the wide spread corruption, the paralysis of the Iraqi economy, the widely growing unemployment “..
Our People’s valiant sons and daughters!
All this consecrate the chaos in Iraq and create more justification for criminal Bush administration to send in more troops to continue occupying our homeland, hit its heroic Resistance, continue chop and change puppet governments and old-new deceitful plans and strategies for murder and destruction in an attempt to reduce the support the heroic Resistance enjoys in amongst the masses, by picking the so called “awakening assemblies” and thugs of the likes collaborators Ahmad Abu Risha and his par, cajole them in Washington and sow division in-between the heroic Resistance factions whose strength has never been as strong and united in the Jihad and Liberation’ High Command absolutely unflinching will to expel the Occupiers and achieve complete victory and see our homeland, Iraq, play its national and patriotic role to lead the national and the human renaissance..

“Albasrah.net published that the official Ba’ath Party’s spokesperson denied that the Ba’ath Party authorized anybody to attend to Dead Sea meeting in Jordan and to the one in Istanbul. The Ba’ath Party confirms that it is determined to continue the resistance for the liberation of Iraq and confirms what it already stated last year in the Political Program of the Baath Party and its Patriotic Resistance.”

@ bARBIe & others:
We are members of noble, honourable Iraqi Resistance. In that property we of course know the orders-of-the-battle of the Iraqi Resistance, see link is here
Baath does not belong to the Iraqi Resistance. Should this change, we’d tell you of that, but there are very serious reasons to trust that there are no reasons whatsoever to suppose that this would change: Once traitor, always traitor, as they say.
Baath under al-Douri works in close partnership with the U.S. as it has always done.
What comes to the part “The Ba’ath Party confirms that it is determined to continue the resistance” I’d like to point out here the very basics: “Resistance” means those that resist the occupation. As you can read from our reports
§1. IRAQ: The Orders-of-Battle and the Strategic Situation of the Occupiers of Iraq, the United States of Israel and Iran in November 2007
link is here
§2. On the “Knights” of the “Brigades of the Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers”
link is here
The phony Baath does not resist, it collaborates.
Therefore any babble of the calibre “determined to continue the resistance” is propaganda rubbish.
This is independently confirmed by the lack, non-existence of any Baath combat forces, except the pro-U.S. Sunni militia now force pooled by the Anbar Slavation Council and other traitor organizations alike.
Note that especially the part “picking the so called “awakening assemblies” and thugs of the likes collaborators Ahmad Abu Risha and his par, cajole them in Washington and sow division in-between the heroic Resistance factions whose strength has never been as strong and united in the Jihad and Liberation’ High Command” is complete reverse of the truth, the very same “Awakening Assemblies” that are accused of treason are another central mercenary force pool of the “Jihad” and “Liberation” (actually neither) as you can read yourself from our article On the “Knights” of the “Brigades of the Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers” linked above.
We expected Baath to come out with this story, as well as the Al-Qaida rot here
Ba’ath Party: Al-Qaeda and the occupation behind civilians deaths
link is here
both confirming what we already know.
What comes to the treason of the Baath Party and especially to its supporters, we would like to point out to all that
§1. While we understand your frustration having become deceived by al-Douri and his “Baath” scum, we are not to be blamed for their crimes. Spare your anger to those deserving that, the al-Douri gang.
§2. Siding these traitors is to get involved in the war crimes of the Waffen U.S., Iranian and Mossad occupation forces in Iraq. We do not recommend that to anyone, so consider your position very carefully, we’re most happy to deliver the participant list and pass it to the Hague International Court so that Bush, Cheney and their friends do not need to feel lonely there.

(A quote from there):
“Officers have spoken to players ranging from Sunni sheiks who have supported al-Qaida, to former members of Saddam Hussein’s special forces and Shiite militiamen loyal to the Mahdi Army in meetings often conducted in hotels in neighboring countries, the newspaper said.”

CORRECTION @ bARBIe, others: Actually our source’s not the article above, but the Armed Iraqi Resistance themselves, who back in June - as we’ve often quoted, cf. link is here - excluded Al-Qaida and the Baath, both working for the U.S.:
“Leaders of the three groups [Speaking in Damascus, the spokesmen for the three groups - the 1920 Revolution Brigades, Ansar al-Sunna and Iraqi Hamas ], who did not use their real names in the interview, said the new front, which brings together the main Sunni-based armed organisations except al-Qaida and the Ba’athists, had agreed the main planks of a joint political programme, including a commitment to free Iraq from foreign troops, rejection of cooperation with parties involved in political institutions set up under the occupation and a declaration that decisions and agreements made by the US occupation and Iraqi government are null and void.”
While the brothers in the Armed section have apparently - Allah’s blessing - their hands full of harvesting the occupiers and their stooges, we here in political wing of the Iraqi Resistance simply report why exactly were Al-Qaida and the Baath excluded.
The answer to that is simple and always the same: collaboration.
Spokeseditor Louhi
p.s. What comes to the part “Thank you you dumb donkey for showing us where you get your information from, the same donkeys who are murdering Iraqis. These are the same people who were caught in Basra attempting to carry out terrorist bombings of Iraqis” we agree, but also want to highlight that these persons are now working with the Baath.
It’s very simple: to partition Iraq, you need a “Federal Army” for the “Federal Iraq”, which is the phony resistance front “Jihad and Liberation”. To this former pro-U.S.&/occupation elements of the Al-Qaida, Mahdi Army and Peshmerga will be amalgated.
A jolly company this collaborationist Jihad and Liberation piece of shit.
No wonder the Armed Iraqi Resistance excluded these fiends from the political front in formation.

The information indicated above in both sources is identical.
This is called a “confirmation” in the news business so that you don’t have let yourself to be distracted with bARBIe’s comment on which source the news came from.
Having quoted the guardian story many times during this baath discussion we provided the IHT story for the change (and because it providing the enemy angle to the issue).
The issue remains the same: al-Douri and his Baathist associates work with the U.S.
From a Resistance point of view this is a no-go: no one sides with the enemy without becoming an enemy.
We keep on chatting this since we’ve noticed that many persons, either blinded by their loyalty to Baath (which the al-Douri set up is certainly not), or badly informed (and thus readily deceived) or some other reasons not needed to go on here, are in fact not guilty to the crimes of “Mr.” Al-Douri and his associates, but support this scam having not understood properly the situation in the battlefield.
As mentioned above, getting involved into war crimes of U.S., Iran and Israel is a very serious matter, so we’ve come forth to warn those unaware of the Baathist deception so to help them in keeping on the legal side of the war.
We are friends.

ON: “I am so glad to see you be honest finally. So the Guardian and IHT are you sources, why don’t you also use cnn and fox.”
- Of course we do not believe all the wires, but these two we’ve been able to confirm based on the very mechanism of the unification process of the Iraqi Resistance and the actual developments related to that.
Here’s our latest analysis piece explaining the current form of the Armed Iraqi Resistance (including a section on al-Qaida and why it’s excluded):
The Orders-of-Battle of the Armed Iraqi Resistance Fronts in 24th of October 2007 and their Corollaries to the Current Situation in the War on Terror
link is here
Here are the AMSI instructions for the unification (by His Eminence Sheikh al-Sadi):
Al-Sadi: Al-Jihad and Change Front, Al-Jihad and Reform Front and all the other Armed Resistance Groups Are to Unify, Solve All Their Mutual Questions and to Keep AMSI’s Fatwas and Directions as Their Reference
link is here
On the other hand, the reasons for Baath exclusion are explained in these pieces:
IRAQ: The Orders-of-Battle and the Strategic Situation of the Occupiers of Iraq, the United States of Israel and Iran in November 2007
link is here
On the “Knights” of the “Brigades of the Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers”
link is here
Listen: the thing about the phony Jihad and Liberation is that
§1. They haven’t shown any intentions of unification with the real resistance groups.
§2. Instead they deal with the occupiers, including their tools such as al-Maliki, al-Sadr al-Qaida and so on.
§3. It is the precondition of the partition of Iraq to have a federal army, without what (sine quo non) no partition of Iraq can be made.
NEWSDESK HELSINKI FINLAND strongly condemns and rejects any idea of a partition of Iraq and therefore we’ve chosen to contest its formation already in this early phase so to make sure for our part that nothing will come out of it.
While we obviously cannot prevent some weaker minds from siding with the U.S. and working with their partition project, we’ll keep all around updated about the situation so to make sure nobody comes then to say that “I didn’t know”, “Nobody told me” and so on.
We did.

NEWSDESK HELSINKI FINLAND
@ Tariq: You got it all wrong.
We want to investigate the position of Al-Douri and Baath backing him.
Everything points to the direction of a deception, but the actual situation might be even more complicated than understood by anyone (saying that aloud, that is): thus e.g. there could be even 3 Baath parties. We are in the middle of our investigations, but haven’t been able to identify such entity as yet: we come from Finland so we have to find out and confirm everything without inside information and this is what we got so far:
§1. The Younis wing as portrayed by us here:
On Baath Party I: Hommage à Iraqi Army 5ht HQ and Al-Jihad and Reform Front
link is here
§2. The Al-Douri wing and its Jihad and Liberation which is apparently connected to the Anbar Slavation council and others alike (these forming their force pool of the sort).
We have no intentions of “eradicate the deep-rooted seed of the Arab Socialist Renaissance from the hearts of the Iraqis”. We protect the Iraqi Resistance, because it’s protecting the Iraqi People.
There are no Baathist combat troops (if not those siding with the U.S. under al-Anbar slavation councils and alike) so that we’re sceptical towards their capabilities of providing any protection.
Apparently, the Jihad and Liberation is not resisting either: nearly 2 months have passed since its formation and we haven’t seen a single combat announcement setting the J & L against the U.S. or other occupation forces.
If fully collaborationist, it is certainly not a legitimate representative of the Iraqi people according to the UN definition (the UN charter, article 51).
We’re finding the truth out as best as we can.
If you’re interested in helping us, do deliver us proofs of any resistance related to J & L forces e.g. under this article.
