The way to Mecca: Syria

A very good Belgium series documentary “Op weg naar Mekka” = “The way to Mecca”, where the journalist and musician Jan Leyers [the Blog...Dutch language] travels through all Arabic countries from North Africa to the Middle East in his way to Mecca – Saudi Arabia, meets and interviews very interesting people some of them very extremists and others are moderates.
Different from other documentaries is that Jan Leyers shows the reality as it is without trying to insert his opinion or propaganda.
This for example his short interview with Syrian moderate cleric “Mohammad Al-Habash” head of Islamic Studies Center, a very unique man with unusual ideas which stands against the stereotype clerics you read about in the media.

Ladybird, although i agree with most of what habash said, “believe me” i don’t trust him.
The fact the Syrian government has given him a “green light” makes me extremely suspicious of his agenda.
Second, why did jan leyers need to state “greater Syria” when habash said “Sham Sharif”????
Why didn’t habash mention that the most recent edition of the bible was written by zionists?

jan leyers says “that’s very revolutionary”, well actually mr leyers (or is that liar) Islam has said Christians, Jews, Sabeans and anyone believing in one god will enter heaven for 1400 years but you think it’s “revolutionary”????? Geez, you obviously don’t know much about Islam.
“2:62 Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
