The new Turkish Republic

Turk­ish news­pa­per “Gunes” pub­lished this map on its front page yes­ter­day say­ing this is the new Turk­ish Republic

The areas included in this new “Turk­ish Repub­lic” are:

Greece, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Arme­nia, Bul­garia, Cyprus, Crete, some other large Mediter­ranean islands and the Aegean Sea.

Notice that 9 Syr­ian provinces and 6 Iraqi provinces included.

    This map was in response to the provoca­tive maps found in west­ern media where the east­ern part of the coun­try is shown as Kur­dis­tan and north east as Arme­nia. By the way, this part of the world was under Turk­ish con­trol for 600 years where the local peo­ple enjoyed the most pros­per­ous and peace­ful times.
