Fights started in Diyala

Watch this video clip and see how the Americans treat and insult the “Awakening” forces.

Heavy Fights in Diyala

Because of the heavy battles going on right now between Al-Qaeda and American forces joined with the Iraqi army in Baquba city –Diyala, wasatonline

Interesting is that Pukmedia refer to the “Awakenings” forces as brigades.

[For easiness they say they are fighting Al-Qaeda, but the reality is tribes dispute with the “Awakening” forces about the money funds]

The new Iraq military officers…. illiterate and physically disable

Alhayat reported about the corruption in the current Iraqi army:

Ba’athists do not trust the new de-Bathification Law

Although Maliki’s government issued the a “tweaked” version of the de-Bathification law, the new so called “Justice and Accountabilities”, alarabiya reported that former Bathists do not trust this new law saying:

It is a trap aimed to deliver the Bathists to the militias.

Interview with Ba’ath Party Official

Radio SAWA audio interviewed Baath party official Al-Murshidi – (Al-Douri wing), and asked about the relation between Baath party and Al-Qaeda, he answered:

After their political, security and military failure in Iraq, political and military security, they are now spreading propaganda to the world about a relationship between the Baath Party and Al Qaeda.

Facts on the ground are different and otherwise, Baath Party’s project is a national, pan-Arab and resists for the liberation of Iraq, Al-Qaeda’s agenda is quite different, therefore there cannot be any relationship and this was even confirmed by the US reports.

Al-Murshidi also called Al-Douri as the leader of “Supreme Command of Jihad and Liberation”, saying:

Comrade Izzat Al-Douri is the leader of “Supreme Command of Jihad and Liberation”, it is not important where he is, the important is that 80% of the Iraqis are against the occupation and supporting the resistance.

Extremely interesting the thing about Diyala, but I don´t know if to believe it…the sunni volunteers, the “CLCs” in Baqouba have commited many known attacks and could start shooting again at any moment, that´s for sure. But I don´t know how could they be joining this enemy that right now is still sending suicide bombers every day.

Anyway we´ll soon find out, at least that there was a curfew on Baqouba should appear on aswataliraq or other agency.

It´s true, a curfew is in place in Baqouba, the version the New York Times and McClatchy have is that policemen killed 2 women and then clashes ensued, anyway Baqouba has been on the edge for several weeks — unreported by both mainstream and anti-war media, who are always wondering what the CLCs do but do not investigate at all as it seems
