Sadr movement negotiations in Cairo
Not long time ago I reported that the Egyptian government invited a delegation from the Sadrists to Cairo for negotiations, my take was this:
The confusing thing is that there is a delegation from Sadr loyalists in Cairo invited by the Egyptian government
Iraqi resistance Jaami reported the details of this meeting saying:
The meeting between the Egyptian government and the Sadrists was not announced publicly and away from the media.
Egypt demanded that leaders in Sadr movement need to take a clear line is clear in its policy to reflect the national Arab identity of Iraq, and to correct their positions to gain the Arabs support to ease the American pressure.
The Egyptian government wanted written deceleration that the movement denies the dominance of Iran on its the political decision.

Alfatiheen Army withdraw from Jihad and Reform Front saying they took a different ideology and we tried to talk to them and correct them but that didn’t help.
The 1920 Revolution Brigades said they are in a truce with the so called “Iraq Islamic State” [Al-Qaeda].
Interesting about this, they said in the statement the following:
