The confusing thing is that there is a delegation from Sadr loyalists in Cairo invited by the Egyptian government

Iraqi resistance Jaami reported the details of this meeting saying:

The meeting between the Egyptian government and the Sadrists was not announced publicly and away from the media.

Egypt demanded that leaders in Sadr movement need to take a clear line is clear in its policy to reflect the national Arab identity of Iraq, and to correct their positions to gain the Arabs support to ease the American pressure.

The Egyptian government wanted written deceleration that the movement denies the dominance of Iran on its the political decision.
