Iraqi soldier “Caesar” killed three American soldiers because they kicked and beat a pregnant woman

Reported on many Iraqi news sites, an Iraqi soldier killed two American soldiers and a captain for kicking a pregnant Iraqi woman

The incident happened two days ago when an Iraqi soldier “Caesar Saadi” joined the American occupation forces in a raid in Mosul, he opened fire after he saw the American soldiers started to beat and kick an Iraqi pregnant woman.

Lebanese newspaper Al-akhbar reported today the story added:

In the streets of Mosul, graffiti appeared on the walls yesterday saying:

Well done Caesar

Also, people in the city are distributing leaflets saying the same text.

Caesar is now in custody accused with killing three Americans.

If they kicked and beat a pregnant woman, they’re not American soldiers, but criminals in American uniforms. Such brutality causes blowback which kills real American soldiers. It’s about time some of these thugs were held accountable, and they are.

Yeah, this is for real. I read about it a week ago on a site i visit regularly. Hopefully this will be a turning point, and the Iraqi people will unite against their common enemy. Then maybe we’ll see chumps like Mr. Ghost going overseas to fight for his hero GW.

What, you mean like weapons of mass destruction? I’m afraid this isn’t a sporting event, and I’m not here as a “sports fan.” This is an illegal and immoral war and occupation, based on and bolstered by demonstrable lies. So I am going to listen to what the victims have to say.

In response to the post above my Mr. Gilday re: his statement “A CONCLUSION ON THE BASIS OF INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE IS A MAJOR ERROR IN REASONING.”

Very true– and one very well worth remembering, in light of the pre-invasion WMD claims made against Iraq, the pre-invasion estimates of conduct of the occupation of Iraq, and the present WMD claims being made against Iran.

So far, it appears the US government has been batting 0 for 3; so why are we to trust anything the government says with relation to anything concerning the multiple situations in the Middle East?

I concur with Mr. Gilday: get the facts and THEN judge the case. Don’t rush to condemn or exonerate before you have sufficient evidence.

As the wife of a former US Marine, I am very sad to say I believe this is true, and I applaud Caesar for his actions. I am so very sorry for what our government is doing over there. Our soldiers are painted here as heroes and in reality, their humanity and faith is drilled out of them in boot camp and they are brainwashed into forgetting what human beings look like. I just praise God that many, like my husband, see the truth and leave the service before they are too far lost. The good men are surrounded by the barbarians and helpless to stop the horror.

What most apparently fail to grasp is this: it really doesn’t matter whether the claim that the Americans were beating a pregnant woman is objectively true in this particular incident. What is indisputable is that the population of Mosul believes it to be true. Based on their experience of how US troops have behaved in the past, they believe it to be true.

We wore out our welcome long, long ago. Time to withdraw ALL troops ASAP.

  18. Bryan Colebrook says:

One of those American soldiers muredered by that Iraqi, was my close friend. I knew him to be a God fearing man, and he is a true Hero. He was a very kind man, a lover not a fighter. I know he would never have done such a thing, he was one of the best men I have known. This Propaganda should not be distributed.

  19. Michael says:

I find this amusing when I read things like this from the American media. Do they seriously believe that the majority of Iraqis actually want the USA to stay in Iraq? Over 1.2 million people killed as a direct result of the illegal American oil invasion, very little clean water resulting in disease. Iraq being turned into a “failed state”, practically no electricity supplies but yet it still seems that some Americans still believe the olde “greeted with flowers” myth.

    Unbelievable.

But Seth Colebrook — a buddy of Portell’s from high school and RiverLakes church — had heard enough.

It’s almost like Judas from the Bible,” said an emotional Colebrook Saturday afternoon, a mere 15 minutes after hearing the news of the turncoat Iraqi. “It’s like Vietnam all over again. If they don’t want us there we should get out.”

    Lets do some math
    58 months of war
Thats 20,700 dead each and every month or 690 dead each and every day for 1825 days.

some of you people are pathetic!

I know it’s late to respond — I just found this. The report from Iraq is untrue. The American soldiers were not beating a pregnant woman. How do I know? The sergeant who was killed was my son-in-law. There was no way he would allow his men to behave in such a manner. He was serious about discipline and taking care of his men and he died taking a bullet for one of them.

I don’t understand why you would rather believe propaganda from people whose idea of afternoon sport is to carry bombs into pet markets and kill women and children, just because they adhere to a different branch of the same religion. They beheaded an American soldier, for God’s sake, and you still believe they are telling the truth.

The man who shot Ben is in jail. He’s coming up on charges of Homicide and Terrorism.

Of course this is a stupid, wrong headed war. But that doesn’t mean our soldiers are beasts. Most are good, honest, caring men and women. Please don’t villify them.
