Abu Abed, leader of awakening to withdraw from the awakening forces

Violent clashes the whole night yesterday in Ahdamiya neighborhood between the awakening militias and the government forces, Abu Abed told the Americans that he and his fighters are quiting the “Awakening” if government forces keep targeting the “Awakening” forces.

The violence started yesterday related to the incident happened two days ago when the “Awakening” forces in Ahdamiya captured 3 Iranians with ID issued by the Interior Ministry, the three were delivered to the Americans.

    Now this I can believe and is more credible.
    While I laugh at the proagandish nature
    of some of the stories you post, I do appreciate the service you
    provide with your insights in to what the Arab press
    and various groups are telling the general Iraqi and Arab public.

    And so it has begun…

    This was the whole plan all along to shift the barrage of attacks on the occupation away from the US

    Create Shiite militias and death squads to contain the Sunni insurgency. That didn’t work. So, create Sunni militias (the awakening councils) in order to throw out America’s greatest historical enemy — al-Qaidah & the Khalifah movement — and then, have the awakening councils (made up of many members of various non-islamist resistance organizations) clash with the shiaa militias. One of the main reasons these councils formed and accepted money and aid and weapons from the US was as a means to secure the average sunni from those shiia militias (which are also backed by the US).

    Now, the US can sit back and watch sunnis kill shias in greater numbers while they continue to intimidate Iraq’s neighbors and steal unmetered Iraqi oil, and of course, continue to see how successful their psy-ops is in convincing Muslims that al-Qaidah is the cause of the terrorism that has inflicted them as opposed to the cia, the mossad, and the US air force.

    seymore; you’ve nailed it. They even dressed up soldiers in traditional gears to impersonate both shiaa and sunni and sent them off to take potshots at people and encourage conflict and animosity. It’s almost standard procedure, comes right after divide and conquer. Hell Iraqi police caught two british soldiers in costume and in-act. They sent Tanks to break them out of jail. At the top of this heap you’re dealing with some emotionally and spiritually bankrupt criminals with no fucking balls or honor what so ever, all they do is calculate, scheme, and plot. They’ll always be ahead in this game because they are the biggest fanatics. they are cowards who deceive, manipulate, and betray the naive and simple minded to do their bidding. Don’t shed the blood of your brothers, it is just what they want, and don’t hold pride in killing the poor deceived US soldiers, they are victims in all this just like you. The only way to beat these sick F_c_s is to defy hostility, refuse to kill another, no matter if U sacrifice your life. We have to turn this around, sacrifices will have to be made, but we can at least resurrect our honor and integrity. Hatred, revenge, and fear are the chains that bind us all, and they have mastered their use. We must rise above them.

    @mightydreamer

    well, your solution is of course correct in theory. But, I believe that the only way to rise above the injustice and overcome the divide and conquer tactics is to unite in the cause of Islam for there is no life without religion and the bond of faith transcends the bond of nationalism/patriotism, the bond of ethnicity, the bond of economic class, and the bond of tribalism. Then and only then will the divide and conquer tactics of foreign militias and empires alike vanish.

    I’m sure you would ask: what about different religions and what about religious freedom. Is a worshiper of satan equal to a worshiper of God? Does a believer and a pagan have the same values or principles or viewpoints? Can you trust someone who is hypocritical in their religion to not be hypocritical in other matters? Are polytheists and monotheists devoted to the same thing??

    And it isn’t hard to find this group among all the other groups that are fighting who stand for this cause and who refuse to compromise on their beliefs. They are the key to unity and victory!
