Defense Adviser: There are no resistance factions in Iraq, only Internet names

Check out the level of sadness in the country:

Defense Adviser Major General Mohammed Al-Askri, in an interview with Al Arbiya played down the Iraqi resistance’s threat saying that most of the resistance operations you see on the Internet are fake operations made by paid-people using modern video-editing techniques.

He give an example saying a video of a tank exploding is released by many resistance groups each group showing it from different angle.

Added:

These factions change their names frequently and try to contact the Americans claiming their influence in Iraq asking for money.

The danger we are facing is Al Qaeda, the Bathists and the rest are Internet names.

In the same report Al Arabiya quotes former minister – from the Sadr movement – he added that the only real resistance faction is Asseb Al Iraq which is a Shiite group first appeared in Basra and they attack the Americans only not the Iraqi police or army.
