Wasn’t Arab Jabour safe three weeks ago?

As reported today, the US mil­i­tary dropped 18,144kg bombs on a rural area Arab Jabour claim­ing to be a safe haven for al-Qaeda in Iraq.

You see we will talk about the civil­ian died but about three weeks ago the same US mil­i­tary claimed that Arab Jabour is safe.

In this Radio Sawa inter­view — 11-12-2007 — with the com­man­der of the Amer­i­can Third Infantry Divi­sion Cap­tain Joseph Inge he said the following:

We cleared the Area Arab Jabour from Al Qaeda threat, with the help of the cit­i­zens [Awak­en­ing Coun­cil]

We ask all the dis­placed peo­ple to return to their homes, and we will help them
