Army General Command: Back in 1996 and under the same flag, we saved Barazani

Gen­eral Com­mand of the Armed Forces issued a state­ment con­demns all attempts to change the Iraqi flag saying:

Gen­eral Com­mand of the Iraqi forces basi­cally do not rec­og­nize the occu­pa­tion and what they brought with them such as the polit­i­cal process, the con­sti­tu­tion and the false elections ….

On this occa­sion we con­demn all attempts to change the Iraqi flag, which started by Mas­soud Barzani for sep­a­ra­tion reasons…..
