The last wise man of Palestine died

George Habash aka the last Pales­tin­ian wise man and the founder of the PFLP has passed away leav­ing the Pales­tin­ian arena totally free for cor­rupt oppor­tunists like Abbas and crooks like Dahlan.

Ital­ian jour­nal­ist Ori­ana Fal­laci wrote a book called “Rage and The Pride” and “The Force of Rea­son” full of fab­ri­ca­tion, quot­ing George Habash saying:

Our rev­o­lu­tion is part of the world revolution…..the entire Arab Nation must go to war against Europe and Amer­ica……
…He meant the cul­tural war, the demo­graphic war, the reli­gious war waged by steal­ing a coun­try from its citizens…

The prob­lem with this quote is: Habash is a Marx­ist Chris­t­ian, unlikely he want to fight an Islamic war in the west [read this pre­view]

Good read, these wise words are from an inter­view in 1998:

Every Pales­tin­ian with a min­i­mum level of respon­si­bil­ity must think in terms of hav­ing a national dialogue..those who believe in con­tin­ued armed strug­gle, such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad, as well as Arafat. And since the Israelis might block some from attend­ing such a meet­ing in Pales­tine, Habash sug­gests the meet­ing might be held in Egypt, Tunisia or Syria
