Roads to Iraq

Nothing new in this interview with Barazani on Jordanian newspaper Al-Arab Al-Youm, he expressed his doubts about the Turkish intentions are they here to fight the PKK or to destroy Kurdistan’s infrastructure, he also repeated the U.S. propaganda data and numbers about the victims of Al-Anfal and Halabja.

On Al-Arab Online his rival Sheikh Jawhar Al-Herki Secretary General of Kurdistan Freedom and Justice Party, says:

The Iranian army attacked Halabja with chemical weapons, if Saddam Hussein did then why they [Talabani and Barazani] negotiated with him for four months after the attack and kissed his hands.

Aggressive attack on Talabani in article published on Al-Hayat today by Yousuf Ziad [PKK's Media official] called “Talabani engineered the Turkish incursion of Iraqi Kurdistan”.

The writer accuses Talabani on allying and cooperating with the Turks against the PKK.

Talabani was always the trojan horse in the Kurdish nationalist movement, he always kept ties with the Turkish powerful parties as well as the relations the former Iraqi regime, and the Syrian and Iranian regime, even at the time when they were heavily attacking and persecuting the Kurds.

On 16-02-’08, he secretly met with the Turkish military Chief of Staff they learned that they agreed on the following points:

1 – Support Ground Turkish incursion.

2 – The formation of a joint coordination committee between “Zaanyare” (Talabani’s intelligence)and the Turkish military intelligence to confront PKK.

3 – Deserters from prior periods, will be handed over to the Turks, to show that they are just escaped from the fight.

4 – Talabani called for creating a buffer zone.
