The mysterious cargo, from Baghdad to Beirut

Reported by Al-Manar yes­ter­day and con­firmed by Al-Khaleej today, a mys­te­ri­ous Amer­i­can mil­i­tary air­plane came from Bagh­dad landed in Beirut unloaded its cargo which are two large wooden boxes, trans­ferred by Amer­i­can embassy’s cars tight­ened secu­rity to unknown des­ti­na­tion with­out pass­ing through the costumes.

This is hap­pened while the Lebanese “Lebanese Forces” leader Samir Geagea is vis­it­ing the US ask­ing Wash­ing­ton for sup­port and met Elliot Abrams.

Arab sum­mit

Al-Akhbar news­pa­per reported that the Saudis accepted the Syr­ian invi­ta­tion to the sum­mit after Iran medi­a­tion saying:

The Ira­ni­ans told the Saudis that they are in the wrong side [of the con­flict], and when Riyadh asked Arabs for backup in Annapo­lis con­fer­ence, Syria accepted the invitation.

Accord­ing to Al-Hayat, King Abdul­lah of Jor­dan is medi­at­ing between Syria and the U.S. con­vinc­ing the Amer­i­can to nego­ti­ate with in exchange of Syria putting pres­sure on Hizballah.
