Prepa­ra­tion for a major cam­paign against “crim­i­nals” in Basra

My doubts about this cam­paign, the Police Chief did not told us who is crim­i­nal and who is not and how he is going to fight against mili­tias sup­ported by Iran and Kuwait.

Anony­mous source told Awan news­pa­per that secu­rity forces in Basra are prepar­ing to launch a major mil­i­tary cam­paign aimed to “clean” the city from crim­i­nals and ille­gal weapons, police chief of Basra Hatem Kha­laf, said in a meet­ing with police offi­cers in Basra, our patience is run­ning out, it is the time to clean the city from crim­i­nals, evil doers and weapons caches in the city.

Basra police chief appealed to the offi­cers to take cau­tion and care, and pre­pare for the deci­sive bat­tle to demil­i­ta­rize Basra.
