Clashes between Mahdi Army and the American forces

Quds Press reported about clashes started today in Sadr-City between Mahdi Army and the Amer­i­can occu­pa­tion forces, the clashes were in sec­tion 7, 8, 9 [Sadr-City divided into numeric sym­met­ri­cal sec­tions, sec­tions divided from each oth­ers by par­al­lel streets].

Accord­ing to the web­site the Amer­i­can forces are placed them­selves in the Tax Office and Allawi-Jamila [big mar­ket], were Amer­i­can snipers took posi­tions above the roofs of the buildings.

There is one other inter­est­ing story reported today about Muq­tada Al-Sadr, Iran gov­ern­ment spokesman Gholam-Hossein do not con­firms the infor­ma­tion about Al-Sadr is in Iran saying:
