Inter­est­ing is that the Qatari deputy min­is­ter of for­eign affairs Abd Allah al-Rumihi crit­i­cizes “some peo­ple” who par­tic­i­pated in the Doha Forum saying:

Some par­tic­i­pants tried to play on the same old “sym­phony” of Western-style democ­racy in order to secure oil sup­plies and the flow of nat­ural resources.

So, who are these “some peo­ple”? Maybe for jeal­ousy rea­sons, the Saudi news­pa­per al-Riyadh played the same “sym­phony” and told us what exactly hap­pened in the “Doha Forum”.

Dr. Mohamed al-Mesafir pro­fes­sor at the Uni­ver­sity of Qatar crit­i­cized the West­ern demands of democ­racy in the Arab world, and the insis­tence on inter­fer­ing in Arab affairs, say­ing : That the West wants a democ­racy that serves its inter­ests and demo­c­ra­tic agenda and serve Israel, which does not rec­og­nize the rights of oth­ers, point­ing out that the Likud Party rejects peace and rejects Pales­tin­ian rights, as well as Shas Party, the west describes Hamas as a ter­ror­ist orga­ni­za­tion despite its vic­tory in a demo­c­ra­tic elec­tions, where is this democ­racy in reject­ing a move­ment came via the bal­lot box and sup­port­ing racist par­ties in Israel reject peace and under­stand­ing with the Arabs.

More on this and hid­den in the Forum web­site, Dr. al-Mesafir asked:

How can the Pales­tini­ans and the Arabs denies the Pales­tin­ian right of return, while the Jews are flow from var­i­ous parts of the world into Palestine?.

The issue of Jerusalem is Arabs and Mus­lims issue and Pales­tini­ans alone, some are try­ing to por­tray the land as an empty space, despite it con­tains of Islamic sanctities.

And about Iran’s nuclear threat, Dr. al-Mesafir added

We are with the nuclear dis­ar­ma­ment of all the Mid­dle East, but while we hear many warn­ings about Iran­ian nuclear weapons threats on the region, we do not hear any­thing about Israel’s stock­pile of weapons of mass destruc­tion, nuclear, chem­i­cal, we have seen how the destruc­tion of Iraq because of a weapons of the WMD lie.
