Sultan: Saddam armed Maliki’s tribe in 1991

No won­der that the news about ques­tion­ing the for­mer Iraqi Defense Min­is­ter Hashim Sul­tan is not reported by the media except on the Saudi al-watan, what Sul­tan revealed is total embar­rass­ment for Maliki:

Sul­tan was ques­tioned about how many mis­siles Iraq pos­sessed dur­ing the first Gulf-war and why the papers says there were 137 mis­sile, Sul­tan answered these papers are not offi­cial the real num­ber of the mis­siles Iraq pos­sessed dur­ing the 1991 war are 110.

The ques­tion about if the army formed an assas­si­na­tion unite to exe­cute the rebel­lions in 1991, Sul­tan said that Sad­dam ordered to arm the tribes [Shi­ite] in the south, one of the tribes was Bani Malik which is Maliki’s tribe.
