Now get this surprise, you probably read the NYT report “Iraq Team to Discuss Militias With Iran”, which in reality they went to negotiate with Muqtada al-Sadr, what happened right now is that the Sadrists condemned this delegation saying it is “too Iranian”, Sadrists spokesman al-Obeidi told al-Jevar that al-Amiri and al-Adeeb are agents of Iran, al-Adeeb holds an Iranian nationality.

He answered the U.S. accusations of the Iranians involvement in the fight in Sadr-City, saying Iran selling arms which are available everywhere all the militias Mahdi Army and al-Qaeda are buying, he directly accused al-Hakim of inviting Iran to sit with the Americans on the negotiation table, he also explained his yesterday’s critic to Iran saying although the Iranian fear the U.S. presence in Iraq, they didn’t condemn the security agreement between Iraq and the U.S.

The Sadrists also issued a statement answering Maliki’s speech yesterday, interesting to read how many misinformation Maliki said:

1– Maliki claimed that Sadr-City is not under blockade and this is contrary to the reality.

2– He claimed that there is enough fuel supply in S-C while he gave his order to the army to stop the fuel supply.

3– Maliki gave a hint that he will decide when the Sadrists can return to the government while we have a document request from him asking us to return to the government.

4– The PM said that he heard the help calls from the Basrawis (as he claims), and that is why he started the military operation in Basra, while in reality it was started by an orchestrated demonstrations by the Supreme Council and Badr Birgades against the police chief in Basra.

5– He stressed that he don’t want to negotiate to solve the current crisis, while he keep send his representatives to negotiate.

6– The PM accused the Sadrists with Burning bodies, while the reality is that the militias who infiltrated the Iraqi army burned the Sadrists in Suk al-Sheiukh.

7– The PM claims that residents in Sadr-City told to “Kill us and kill the militia” means that he gave himself the authorization to kill everybody in S-C.

8– The current Iraqi constitution gives the immunity to the MP’s to give statements, and the PM can accuse them about their statements and he should apologize from them.

9– The PM called the [MP’s] demonstrators in S-C to stand with the law, while the only thing they request is justice, in two times they registered a violation of human rights by the occupation forces.

10– The PM stated that the supreme-clerics support his operations in S-C, while the supreme-clerics criticized the government and its acts of embargo cities and the killing of women and children.

Please, notice the last point because there is more to add on this, one Ayatollah “al-Hassani”, criticized the military operation in Sadr-City but he also issued a very harsh critic to the supreme-clerics also for their silence about what is going on in Sadr-City, which is something unusual saying:

These crimes are happening in front of the whole world because of the humiliation withdrawal of our guidance-council [Hawza], which is planned by the super powers with the approval of the forth occupation government.

Last thing is that Awan reported that the Iraqi army with the help of the American occupation forces is ready for the final attack on the militias in Sadr-City, the newspaper also added that 40,000 leaflet are already printed to distribute them among the residents.

af den konservative fløj. Imens!
