Two tanks destroyed, The Americans bombed the hospital

For some rea­son Iran said that the future meet­ings with the Amer­i­cans are con­nected with stop­ping the attacks on Iraqi cities by the U.S. occu­pa­tion army [in other words stop the attacks and we will stop arm the mili­tias] who proved its ruth­less­ness today bomb­ing the only hos­pi­tal in the area as an answer to the resis­tance suc­cess to stop a U.S. attack yes­ter­day destroy­ing two Bradley tanks forc­ing the occu­pa­tion army to with­draw back behind the Canal.

One thing reported by al-Hayat today which I didn’t saw in the west­ern media is that Maliki’s gov­ern­ment offered Muq­tada al-Sadr a high-rank offi­cial posi­tion in the gov­ern­ment in the exchange with the dis­band of Mahdi Army [per­sonal opin­ion, I am sure that al-Sadr will reject this offer].

Noth­ing new in Harith al-Dhari interview,on al-Sharq al-Awsat, repeat­ing the AMSI state­ment two days agosay­ing: “for two years, Maliki’s gov­ern­ment used the Sadrists for their own agenda and [doing their dirty work], now they are fight­ing for inter­ests”.
