collective punishment; Mosul without water
Browsing through at least 50 newspapers and website, not many reports about the “real” situation in Mosul right now except repeating or translation news agencies report which totally “unreliable”, take this report for example on al-Hayat:
Mosul governor Duraid Kashmoula told al-Hayat that the tribal chiefs [in Mosul] asked the government to arm them to participate in the military operation and defend their areas.
While the reality is and according to Jordanian newspaper al-Ghad, the tribal chiefs probably were asking for water:
The Council of Arab tribes in Mosul reported that the government cut off water supplies from the right side of the city for two days as part of collective punishment policy against Arabs who refused to deny their pan-Arabism, and reject the campaign of “Kurdishization” of the city
In a letter addressed to the newspaper, the council rejected the participation of Badr militia and Kurdish Peshmergah militia in the military operation, and Kurdish militia close the gates of the Mosul dam that provide water to the area
Also Mp Osama al-Najfi who represents Mosul in the parliament said that the Kurdish militia is forcing the people in Mosul to sign letters that say their properties belong to the Kurdish areas.
I asked few days: Who are these civilians on military vehicles going to Mosul?

Only Israel benefits from these endless Middle East wars. Iraq is the beginning. As we commit war-crimes in Baghdad, the US gov’t commits treason at home by opening mail, eliminating habeas corpus, using the judiciary to steal private lands, banning books like “America Deceived” from Amazon and Wikipedia, conducting warrantless wiretaps and engaging in illegal wars on behalf of AIPAC’s ‘money-men’. Soon, another US false-flag operation will occur (sinking of an Aircraft Carrier by Mossad) and the US will invade Iran.. Then we’ll invade Syria, then Saudi Arabia, then Lebanon (again) then ….
