The term “The Saudi era” founded by the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan, remember it very good because recently it will be widely used on the Arab media, what happened in Qatar today is bigger than Lebanon and Qatar, it is the end of the Saudi era.

An article appeared on Palestinian newspaper Watan called “Is it really the end of the Saudi era?” discuses this term:

Qatar managed to neutralize the powerful Arab countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia, seceded to isolate the Lebanese crisis due to reasons:

It was one of Hezbollah conditions that Egypt and Saudi Arabia to not to get involved in the negotiations.

The fast reaction of the Arab league to send a delegation to Lebanon and returns with seize-fire agreement between the Lebanese factions, while at the same time Saudi Arabia and Egypt threatened to send Arab forces.. The Lebanese crisis came to push Qatar to the front with its unique gulf-state position which is swimming against the Saudi current.

The axis of the “moderate Arab” is about to collapse, and the Saudi role in the region will take a long vacation, waiting the count of ballot boxes in White House race in the U.S..

I am expecting many of such articles in the coming days, an I will report them all.
